Our Mission

Our purpose is that we may be encouraged in heart and united in love, so that we may have the full riches of complete understanding, in order that we may know the mystery of God, namely, Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. We tell you this so that no one may deceive you with persuasive words (Colossians 2:2-4).

Our Faith

There is one body and one Spirit, just as we were called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all (Ephesians 4:4-6).

We believe that there is one omnipotent God, who has given us His perfect will for our lives. God's inspired Word tells us that Jesus gave His life for us, while we were still sinners. There was only one church or body that was bought with the blood of Jesus. We have no man-made denomination to tell us what to believe. We believe that if we follow the example of the 1st century church found in the Bible, we can restore the church to what God wants it to be. We follow and obey only what God tells us in His Word. We have found that God wants all of us to serve and dedicate our lives fully to Him. God wants all of us to believe and confess that Jesus is the Christ the Son of the living God, whose blood cleanses us of sin as we repent of our past sins. God then has the power to lift all our burdens of sins, as we rise as a new man or woman in the total immersion of water baptism. As Christians we should continue to walk in the light as He is in the light. We find that the early Christians searched the Scriptures daily, as they gave to everyone as they had need. The church worships in spirit and truth as they sing, pray, preach, teach, and partake of the Lord's Supper. The Lord's Supper is given by Jesus to partake on the first day of the week. As Christians we are striving to teach the truth in love, while we are living in this world of sin.

We may not have all the answers, but we know where to find them. Please contact us, if you have any questions or doubts about any of the previous statements. We love studying! There are further Scriptures and Bible studies in the Bible study section of this web site. Each weekly Hunter Encourager also has helpful teaching articles .
